Hyundai's Genesis has been tooted as a decent performer by the auto enthusiast world. Although the 2.0T engine is somewhat lackluster, this hasn't stopped tuners from trying to extract more power from the platform. Hyundai also announced pricing for the Genesis Coupe R-Spec, which will be a "track-ready" model, eliminating 68 lbs of weight as well as $4,000 from the price. The Genesis Coupe R-Spec will be equipped with the 3.8 V6, and non-essential convenience items such as cruise control and automatic headlights.
The pricing of the Genesis models is broken down below:
2.0T w/ 6-spd = $22,250
2.0T w/ Auto = $23,500
2.0T R-Spec w/ 6-spd = $24,500
2.0T Premium w/ Auto = $26,750
3.8 R-Spec w/ 6-spd = $26,750
3.8 Grand Touring w/ Auto = $29,750
3.8 Track w/ 6-spd = $30,750
3.8 Track w/ Auto = $32,250
Talk about a lot of different model variations...Regardless, the Genesis seems like a decently good enthusiast deal.
