Braylon Edwards Arrest

+ Arrested at 5:15am, late night!

Coming off a huge win two days ago at home against the Patriots, all seemed to be going well in Jets camp. The mini-scandal involving a a female reporter in the locker-room, their tough loss in week one to the Ravens, and even Revis' minor injury in week two seemed to have been forgotten. However, Braylon Edward's or ?stone hands? as I like to call him, changed all of that when he got arrested for DWI in Manhattan early this morning.


The guy was not just a little tipsy either, he was double the legal limit! He must have some ego thinking he could get away with that. I'm not ready to condemn this guy for a DUI arrest, but his comments on twitter more or less confirmed how lost he really is. He was initially pulled over for driving a car with windows that were too tinted. If he is going to drive drunk, he should probably try to look a bit more inconspicuous. He is currently in police custody, and will be arraigned later today. Say good-bye to Edwards for at least four games, perhaps the season Jets fans.


I guess when you sign known thugs to relatively cheap contracts, it often comes back to bite you. When you take someone's trash, it turns into your trash. Brush in's with the law are nothing new for Edwards, and when you read his comments on twitter after getting arrested, it is hard to take anything he does seriously.


He must be in a fancy jail with internet connection. He said, ?Good morning world...winning is the goal, perfection is the aspiration, & dedication is the key to unlock the door. Lets work?. He must be hoarding a lot of dedication so he can unlock the key to his jail cell. He is just using a lot of fancy words that aren't at all relevant. He's trying to use Mike Tyson's strategy, but he is failing miserably.

Lastly, Edwards made sure to mention that he was very happy to score the first touchdown for the Jets in their new stadium. Congratulations big guy. He also wanted people to visit his website and buy his tee-shirt. For a mere 55 dollars you could be the proud owner of a Braylon Edwards T-shirt! I figure he needs some bail money, so I'll throw his link out there if you want to support a fallen Jet.
