I am a longtime Madden player who has purchased every Madden since Daunte Culpepper graced the cover in Madden 2002. From year to year, EA Sports does their best to make changes in the game to help justify the $60 price tag for what basically ends up being a roster update....Read more
I?d like to state that I never played the initial StarCraft. However, I do consider myself a veteran RTS player. I?m a fan of Company of Heroes and the Command and Conquer series. I especially enjoy playing Red Alert, which is the RTS I have invested the most time in. With that being said, I planned on ?waiting and seeing? before I purchased StarCraft, but two of my friends were urging me to buy the game. Plus, I went to the midnight release, and once again was verbally violated by a douche bag Gamestop employee, but that?s a story for another day. After the push from my friends I decided to buy the game, and after about fifteen hours of gameplay I have formed a pretty solid opinion of the game.

While this years E3 might have focused on the upcoming motion controllers for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3, the coolest piece of technology launched was OnLive. For those of you not familiar with OnLive, it is a micro-console and service that uses cloud computing to stream games over the Internet. OnLive eliminates the need for a gaming console, or a top of the line computer. All you need is a television, or a computer that is capable of streaming video. That?s it....Read more
When I?m in the market to purchase a new game I want instant gratification. Meaning, I don?t want to order online, and then wait for delivery. I want the product in my hand, so I can enjoy immediate entertainment. Unfortunately, for me, that involves going to the local GameStop to pick the game. I don?t know about anyone else out there, but I hate walking into GameStop....Read more
By now, everyone on that planet knows about the Miami Heat?s trio of superstars, Chris Bosh, Dwyane Wade and LeBron James. Aside from the terror they are going to cause on the court in real life, I cannot imagine how on earth anyone is going to be able to stop this star studded team in NBA 2K11. But I will do my best to give you a game plan that we can only hope will contain the Miami Heat....Read more

Every 2K player knows that the success of their team and franchise is heavily reliant on the role players you put around your stars. Now its easy to draft your well known role players like Tyrus Thomas, Anderson Varejao, Carl Crawford, etc. However, it?s a true art when you can find players that 2K has given ?extraordinary? (loosely used) talents to, even though in real life they are for the most part average NBA players. These ?sleeper? players can make a difference between a league championship and an early playoff departure. Here at menversus.com we have complied a list of our top sleeper players for the upcoming NBA 2K11 season, as well as role players we believe could fly underneath the radar.
