College football fan or not every sports enthusiast needs to be glued to the television this Saturday. There are a handful of matchups that are just filled with drama that not even the best of television shows can replicate. While the headliner has to be the rematch of the 2003 Fiesta Bowl between Miami and Ohio State, Florida States trip to Norman should be a fun high scoring game, and it will be interesting to see how Alabama performs against an overrated Penn State team without Mark Ingram. ...Read more

What did we learn from college football in week 1? The answer is very little, despite what ESPN may have told you. I'm only certain about two things from week 1 (thus far). The first is UCONN showed against Michigan that they still lack the athletes to start a major program. I say this because Michigan didn't beat UCONN, Denard Robinson beat UCONN. Yesterday, Matt Leinart was quoted as saying ?The philosophy is you want the best 11 guys to play. I feel like I?ve proved that with my performance. I don?t really know what else I could possibly do, so it probably goes beyond football. For me, I just really want an explanation and I haven?t been given one.? ...Read more
The window is closing fast on the aging Celtics, and I wonder if they have another title run in them. If you took the Celtics roster and went back ten years, you would have a dynasty. The only important players on the team who aren't on borrowed time are Rondo and Perkins, but the rest of the group is ancient. Below is the 2010-2011 Celtics roster. They clearly have some huge names, but unless Doc Rivers can invent a time machine, the Celtics may be in for a rough season. ...Read more
