Move over, Windows!
Not too long ago I decided to give Linux a serious test drive. Instead of doing the usual live-cd route, I wanted to actually install a Linux distribution and have a fully fledged experience. It used to be that people would shy away from Linux because of so-called "horrid" experiences with trying to find drivers, in particular wireless drivers. Engineers try to propel a wind-driven vehicle faster than the wind powering it
Is it possible?
The "Ride Like the Wind (only faster)" team, fasterthanthewind.org, are trying to create a vehicle that can travel faster than the wind propelling it. Aerospace engineer Rick Cavallaro, who graduated from Georgia Tech in 1984, and his team already claim to have traveled at least twice as fast as the wind during testing.
