Toyota announces voluntary recall on certain models

Toyota today announced a voluntary safety recall on certain Corolla models. The vehicles in affect are 2005-2008 model year Toyota Corollas and Corolla Matrix models. Toyota estimates that about 1 million cars will be affected. The recall is for the ECM, or engine control module in the car that may crack at certain spots. This can lead to harsh shifting, a check engine light, or cause the engine to shut off. Hopefully this problem is taken care of quickly. ...Read more
